Guided Tours in Rocky Mountain National Park

Our tours are private, meaning that your group will not be combined with another group. We offer either a half day or full day tour for up to five passengers in our comfortable touring SUV.

General Tour Information

Rocky Mountain National Park will be running its Timed Entry Permit system from May 24 - October 20, 2024. When you enter the park with Rocky Guides, you DO NOT NEED A TIMED ENTRY PERMIT, but you will still be required to pay for the RMNP Entrance Fee, which is $30/day or $35/week and covers your whole group. We can do this upon entering the park and does not need to be done in advance. If you already hold an America The Beautiful Interagency Annual Pass or another valid pass that grants access to national parks, please bring that with a valid government issued ID and that will cover your whole party.

Weather in the mountains tends to dictate what is possible to do on any given day. For most outings, it is wise to remain flexible, alert and to always be prepared with proper clothing. We advise starting tours as early as possible in the day, especially during the summer months, when our local weather tends to bring surprising thunderstorms in the afternoons.

Meeting Place

We offer pick-up/drop-off service at your lodging in the Estes Park area.

If your group would rather meet your guide at Estes Park Visitor Center rather than being picked up at your lodging that is also an option, especially for those visitors driving up from Denver, Boulder, Fort Collins, or other towns in Colorado's Front Range.
